Do I have a warranty?

How do I register the tablet for this warranty?

For instructions, go to http://www.mediafire.com/azpenregistration and register your tablet.  If you have any questions or need assistance, please email support@azpenpc.com.  Do not use our website to register.

Steps to perform if your display screen is in a frozen status, not responsive to touch, or locked out using your password.  These steps do not work on our G7 model.

Before performing this function, make sure you have saved your data to an SD card.

  1. Power off the tablet.
  2. Press and hold the Volume button down until you reach step 5.
  3. Press the Power button 10 times at a steady pace.
  4. Perform a soft reset by using a paper clip and pressing the Reset button 3 to 4 times on the back. You may need to wait about 5 minutes for the tablet to power back on.
  5. If you see the Red Android triangle, release the Volume button and then press volume UP and then volume DOWN one time.  Repeat the steps above until you see the display options.
  6. Once the operation screen appears, select the option 3 for Wipe the Data/Factory Reset, formatting, select Delete All User Data.  You may need to use the up and down Volume keys to select your option and use the Power button to make selection.
  7. Once the display appears again, select option 1 for Reboot the System Now, and the tablet should restart.
  8. Process is completed.

 

Steps to reinstall software if experiencing any of the above or LCD issues.

Before performing this function, make sure you have saved your data to an SD card.

  1. Power off the tablet.
  2. Go to www.medifire.com/azpensupport.com
  3. Download the instruction files.
  4. Select the folder with your tablet model and download Live Suite file and your tablet image.
  5. Press and hold Volume button down except for on the G7 hold the back arrow key button down while connecting the USB to the tablet and computer.
  6. Press the Power button 12 times while holding the Volume key down.
  7. The user interface (UI) upgrade will appear on the computer screen.
  8. Click Yes.
  9. Click Yes.
  10. When you see finish, the process is complete and now you can power your tablet back on.

 

 

How do I connect to the internet using WiFi?

Go to settings, make sure WiFi is turned on, and select available network displayed on the right.  If your using your own router or a Secured WPA/WPA2, enter your password on the back of the router, and press connect.  It should display obtaining IP address and then show connected.  Go back to the home screen and select your internet browser.

 

What if I can’t connect to the internet using WiFi?

Check to make sure your in range of the router and have a good signal.  Make sure your router is working correctly and have entered the right password.  When entering your password, you may want to check the box “Show password” to verify it is entered correctly as Zeros and the letter O and number 1 and the letter l look alike.  Try turning the WiFi off and back on again or doing a soft and hard reset on the tablet.  Try connecting to another WiFi device to see if it’s the router or the tablet causing the problem.  You may need to check your router to see if the port is available or set to a default setting.  You may need to contact your service provider for these instructions. 

 

What if I experience Authentication problems while trying to connect?

Try resetting your router by unplugging your router and waiting about 10 seconds to plug it in back in.  Also, you may try performing a soft or hard reset on the tablet.  See instructions below.

How do I sync or transfer files to/from the tablet?

Connect the USB adapter to the tablet and to your computer while both are powered on.  Select the USB icon on the bottom on your tablet, select USB connected - copy files to/from your computer, select Turn on USB storage, and press OK.  If you don’t have an SD Card installed, it will copy files for your internal storage.  Then select the files you want to copy as these options will appear on your computer screen.

If transferring files such as Pictures, Music, and Movies from your computer to the tablet, these will go into each corresponding icon.

 

How much external memory does the tablet support?

You can expand the memory up to 32 GB by using an SD Card.

 

 

How do I install and read files on the SD Card?

Insert the SD Card into the slot with the prongs facing towards the tablet until it clicks into place.  An icon will appear at the bottom of the tablet when mounted properly.  From the home screen, go to the application menu, select File Manager, select the SD Card icon at the top of the screen, and select the file you want to open.  You may be asked to choose Adobe Reader, OfficeSuite, Sheet To Go, or PDF To Go to open file.

 

How do I copy and paste files from the SD Card to the tablet?

Follow the instructions above to insert the SD Card.  From the home screen, go to the application menu, select File Manager, select the SD Card icon at the top of the screen, and select the file you want to open. Press and hold on the file for about three seconds until File Operations appear on the screen.  Select the option you want to perform.  To copy, press Copy File, select the Hard Drive icon at the top of the screen, select the folder you want to paste it in, press and hold until Folder Operations appears on the screen, select Paste into folder.      

 

What should I use to clean the LCD screen?

You can use eye glass lens cleaner, non-scratching microfiber type of cloth.  Don’t use Windex.

 

 

 

 

How do I copy and paste files from the tablet to an SD Card?

Follow the instructions above to insert the SD Card.  From the home screen, go to the application menu, select File Manager, select the Hard Drive icon at the top of the screen, and select the file you want to open.

Press and hold on the file for about three seconds until File Operations appear on the screen.  Select the option you want to perform.  To copy, press Copy File, select the SD Card icon at the top of the screen, select the folder you want to paste it in, press and hold until Folder Operations appears on the screen, select Paste into folder.     

 

 Factory Reset

Go to settings, scroll down and select Backup & reset, select Factory data reset, select Reset.  Reset will take one minute until the tablet reboots.  Make sure you have backed up your files as this erases all data stored or downloaded on the tablet.  Be sure to write down any account and password information.

 

Soft Reset

Press the reset button on the back of the tablet with a fine point object for about two seconds.  This will not erase data store on the tablet.  This may help if the screen is frozen, not responsive to touch, or may be experiencing WiFi connection issues.

 

How do I get into my tablet if I forgot my password?

See our company website for instructions on downloading the software to reset the tablet.

This may erase all of the stored files and passwords saved on the tablet.

 

How do I charge the tablet?

The tablet can be charge using the DC Charger or the USB cable in the box.  For the first time, charge the battery for 8 hours.

 

How do I maximize and extend the battery life?

Go to settings, select Display, select Brightness and move the bar to the left to decrease Brightness.

Go to settings, select Display, select Sleep and select a shorter time of 2 or 5 minutes.

Go to settings, select Apps, select running and close the apps on the tablet except for the Google Services.

Go to settings and turn off WiFi.

There is a battery saver app on Google Playstore.

 

What if the tablet doesn’t power on or take a charge?

First, try charging the tablet using either the Charger or the USB cable.  Make sure it has been charging for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power it on.  Make sure the battery is charged for 8-12 hours if the battery is below 5%.  Press and hold the power button for about 3 seconds until the tablet comes on.  If it still doesn’t come on, try to do a soft or hard reset above.

 

What if the touch screen is not responsive or is in a frozen status?

Power off the tablet and turn back on or try using the soft reset above.

 

How do I check the model number or Android version on the tablet?

Go to settings, scroll down and select Android tablet to view.

 

Where do I find my HDMI port for video connections? 

This is usually located on the side of the tablet but not all models come with this feature.

 

How do I get Netflix, Hulu, Crackle, Pandora, TV.com to play on my tablet?

Go to Google Play Store, download Google Play Movies and TV app.  This should allow you to perform these applications on your tablet.
